Spring Loaded Window Shades

The Sacconi

When you open your mouth, especially in a public context, and especially when representing the government, you should have the wit, the theme chosen to respond to a simple question: What are the actors in my statement? In a nutshell: who I'm going to hit? Minister Sacconi, author of 'improvident sentence government aid payable only to married couples with children, that question is perhaps not even if the mail. And we hope so. Why else would mean that a Minister of our Republic has prepared a highly personal list of children: those worthy of help and those less worthy, because tainted by original sin of the parents. To fail to mention the second part of the statement ministerial data should not only aid to families whose parents have a wedding ring, he annotated the minister, but would go to those families who are committed to procreation. In short, children adopted by couples in fact put on your heart at rest. Easy jokes aside, we can not fail to stress the fact that the development of similar phrases, uttered with uncanny lightness is comparable to an uneasy awakening from sleep, when you do not know if the anxiety that oppresses us is real or the result a nightmare. Incredulous, we would like to remind the minister that his sentence pronounced definitely thinking of making the audience happy and most of the Conference of Catholic voters in general, is in fact a resounding slap to the children. The consequence of that message is all too clear: your parents are not married? You are not worthy of aid. Some may say that he did not want. Some may say that he later retracted. Some may say that all can escape nonsense from time to time. Well, then you say to the children and all those who are committed daily around the world to remember that children's rights apply to all children, pink or brownish, white or yellow, with almond eyes or hair curly high or low, healthy or sick, or high-caste "untouchables", boys or girls, orphans or with family. The phrase undermines the foundations of Sacconi this effort, and less than two weeks after the anniversary of the signing of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, is a painful blow to the children. All the children also to those engendered by married parents.
