front of the elementary school in Adro, Brescia, turned into a jumble of symbols of the party. Faced with images of children taken to the streets screaming and ranting against the West, because of a few individuals who have nothing better to do than to burn copies of the Koran. Faced with large and small incidents of bullying that do not wait for adolescence, involving children, but smaller, maybe we should re-propose a poem that reminds us that children are fragile. And their hearts should be handled with care.
Children learn what they live.
If a child lives with criticism learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility learns to fight.
If children live with one learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement learns to have faith.
If a child lives with fairness he learns justice.
If a child lives in the availability learns to have faith.
If a child lives in the approval he learns to accept.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship he learns to find love in the world.
